“Civil War Hospitals and Medicine” will be the topic of a display and series of talks on Sundays during July at the Catoosa County Library. The July 8 speaker will be Jim Ogden, 'Beyond the Field Hospitals”. Future speakers will be Connie Forester, July 15, “The Battle of Lafayette and the Hospital at the Presbyterian Church”, Jerry Tollinger, July 22, “A 10th Tennessee Cavalryman, Pat and Harold Silcox, July 29, “Colonel and Mrs. Cloud.” Each talk will be from 2:30-3:30 pm each Sunday at the Community Room of the Library located on the Benton Place campus off Battlefield Parkway.
