The William Marsh Chapter NSDAR will be re-dedicating the Historic Marker placed by this chapter on July 12, 1922. This celebration will take place on Saturday, September 15 at 2pm. There will be light refreshments served and tours of the home. The Chief John Ross House, located in Rossville, Georgia is possibly one of the oldest homes still in existence in Northwest Georgia. The Daughters of The American Revolution wishes to re-dedicate this marker to bring attention to this historic property. Historic Preservation is one of the three main objectives of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Anyone interested in helping to preserve this historic property is welcomed to attend.
