Shoes, handbags, jewelry, oh my! Tina Holder’s Heart and Sole, 1850 Redmond Circle, Suite 900, offers an eclectic variety of items for the modern woman.
“Basically, sole, came from the soles of your shoe and this is something I’ve always wanted to do, so it’s very close to my heart,” explained Holder as she described how she arrive at the name Heart and Sole.
“It’s a fun, bright, vibrant place for women to come shop,” Holder said. “We’ve got as lot of different unique things. I don’t like carrying the same purse as someone else, with my lines, everybody feels a little unique and special.”
Holder said she’s picky and does her own buying at the various merchandise marts. She has a background in retailing and offers a wide selection of handbags, shoes, and jewelry, some clothing. “Tops, leggings, that sort of thing,” said Holder.
She puts a strong emphasis on making each customer feel comfortable as soon as they come into the store. She wants each customer to be greeted as soon as they’ve got both feet inside the store.
“I don’t follow them around the store, but if they need help, they know I’m right here,” Holder said. If you can get people to loosen up and talk, they tend to remember you, even if they don’t buy something at that time.”
