The Lakeview Lady Warriors scored seven times in the third inning to pull away from Rossville, 10-2, in a five-inning North Georgia Athletic Conference softball game on Thursday.

Both Rossville runs came in the fifth inning. Courtney Mooneyham walked and Brook Wagner followed up with a single. Courtney Goins then walked, and Autumn Perry drew a bases-loaded walk to plate a run. Callie Scroggins' RBI-single plated Wagner with the final run.

Madison Simmons also had a single for the Lady Bulldogs. Perry struck out two and walked three in three innings of work in the circle. Jennifer Coates came on in the fourth and struck out one.

The Lady Bulldogs (1-4) will play a non-league game on Friday at New Hope.
