"Enjoy the City" coupon books are available at every school until Oct. 3. Cost is $20 per book and it contains more than $3,500 in savings.
Superintendent Denia Reese said the new books offer great discounts and a variety of merchants.
"Our ‘Enjoy the City’ coupon book is an excellent value, and I am pleased with the new merchants who have added coupons this year," Reese said. "I see this as a win-win opportunity. Families can save money and our schools keep $12 profit from each book sold. Each school determines how to use their profits for instructional material, technology and projects for their students. Last year, our schools earned over $127,000.”
Reese also extended her gratitude to all those who help make the fundraiser a success.
"I appreciate Northwest Georgia Bank, Pin Strikes and Learning Express Toys for providing prizes for our students," Reese said. "I am also very thankful that our parents, grandparents and community members see the value of spending $20 for a coupon book that benefits our schools. We appreciate every person who purchases a book to support our children’s education.”
Scott Smith, NWGA bank president and COO, agreed with Reese regarding the importance of the annual event.
“We are proud to continue our long-standing relationship with Catoosa County schools and support quality education in our community. Our support of this worthwhile fundraising effort is only one of the many ways we support education in Catoosa County and we are committed to doing so for years to come.”
