East Ridge Futbol Club announces tryouts

The East Ridge Futbol Club will hold tryouts for its U12 girls' and its U13 and older teams on Tuesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 30 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Camp Jordan. ERFC teams captured 12 tournament championships this last season and were finalists in 23 more tournaments across the Southeastern United States. In addition, the U15 boys captured the Tennessee state title and the U16 boys were champions of Tennessee's state league. The U12 and U14 girls have both qualified for the Division I State Cup. Boyd-Buchanan School to host Eric Berry youth camp

The Eric Berry 2013 D1 Iron Sharpens Iron Camp will be held on June 14 at Body-Buchanan School in Chattanooga and on June 15 at Grace Christian Academy in Knoxville. Berry was an All-American football player at the University of Tennessee and is an All-Pro player for the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs. The camp will be for boys and girls, ages 7-14, and it will be held from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. both days. The cost for campers is $75 and $50 for D1 Sports Training members. The first 50 participants registered for each camp location will be put in a drawing for an Eric Berry autographed jersey. For more information, call (423) 499-9418 or (615) 642-7123.

Larry Black is more than qualified to be the Sheriff of Our Catoosa county. Gary Sisk action toward Larry after the election was vindictive and very childish. Is this how he is going to control the law in Our Catoosa county. Gary won this election by our former sheriff failing to follow the policy for sheriff dept. policy by indorsing Gary. All the citizens of Catoosa co. needs to look back at Larry Black's service to this county and it was fine till Gary Sisk came along. I hope our county can tolerate this term.
