The victim told police that an unknown offender(s) entered the residence and took several items.
The victim also stated that he believed the suspect(s) removed a window mount air conditioning unit and possibly entered the residence through the open window.
A scan of the residence revealed visible damage to the front doorframe of the home.
A 42-inch Vizio television, a 19-inch Panasonic television, a window air conditioning unit, and a Sony Blu-ray player were among the items reported stolen during the incident.
The case was turned over to detective Michael Tinker.
· Between 8:15 p.m. on July 16 and 4 p.m. on July 17, a criminal trespass and theft occurred at a private impound lot on Direct Connection Drive in Rossville.
The victim told police that someone entered his private lot by cutting the chain link fence, which held multiple vehicles for repossession.
He also stated that the offender(s) took multiple items from a vehicle, but not the vehicle itself.
The deputy who responded to the call was able to locate fingerprints on the driver side toolbox on the vehicle, and obtain that print for investigators.
The victim was unable to provide serial numbers for the stolen items.
The case was turned over to detective Ronald Roach.
