The victim told police she left her residence early in the morning to go to work, only to return home to find that someone had broken into the house.

The offender(s) opened the storm door and kicked in the rear door to the residence.

A jewelry box containing several articles of jewelry was taken during the incident, with the total estimated value of all the items to be $1,565.

The victim later discovered that a gold wedding band with the date of the wedding inscribed had also been taken during the burglary.

The case was turned over to detective Jeremy Keener.
