· Between Jan. 1 and Jan. 24, a forced-entry residential burglary occurred on Meadowdew Lane in Rossville resulted in the theft of nearly $2,000 worth of merchandise from the home.

The victim told police that he arrived home after several days to find that someone had forced open the door to his home and to a door on his storage trailer.

Multiple items were then stolen from within the home and from the trailer.

A grill, a nail gun, and a 4500-watt generator were taken during the incident.

The case was turned over to detective Ed Vickrey.
