GLMS shuts out Dade County

The Gordon Lee Middle School softball team blanked Dade County, 8-0, in an NGAC league game on Monday.

Brylee Dunn led the the Lady Trojans with a 3-for-3 day at the plate. Madison Collier was 2-for-3 for the day, while Karsan Gazaway added a double and two RBIs to help send Gordon Lee to the win.

Pitcher Canaan Burnett allowed only three hits and one walk while striking out five to get the victory.

Gordon Lee (8-4) will host Ringgold today at 5 p.m.
