According to a media release, Rep. Jay Neal (R-LaFayette) has received the endorsement of Georgia Conservation Voters (GCV).

GCV is a statewide non-partisan organization dedicated to protecting the quality of life for all Georgians by making conservation issues a top priority with Georgia’s elected officials, political candidates and voters.

“Rep. Neal has demonstrated a commitment to preserving our natural resources and protecting our quality of life,” said Rob Teilhet, executive director of Georgia Conservation Voters. “He has worked to support innovation in energy and our economy, protect the health of our children and to overcome a variety of environmental challenges that Georgia continues to face.”

Georgia Conservation Voters works with environmental and sportsmen’s organizations across the state to promote shared legislative priorities each year. Legislators receive endorsements based upon their demonstrated commitment to the environment.
