The Walker County Health Department has received 1,800 doses of the H1N1 injectable vaccine.

“This 1,800-dose shipment represents a small portion of the overall amount of vaccine we expect to receive over the next couple of months,” nurse manager Tracy Pevehouse said Wednesday.

The health department will begin offering the injectable vaccine on an appointment basis for priority, high-risk individuals on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The health department is at 603 Villanow St. in LaFayette.

Priority individuals include: pregnant women; care givers of infants less than 6 months of age; children and young adults aged 6 months to 24 years; persons aged 25-64 years who have medical conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease, chronic lung disease and immunosuppressive disorders; health care and emergency medical service workers.

Pevehouse said the vaccine is manufactured in the same way as seasonal flu vaccines.

“We have a high degree of confidence in its safety,” Pevehouse said. “We did not cut any corners in manufacturing or testing in terms of safety.”

Additional opportunities to receive the vaccine will be announced as more become available. Pevehouse said the current vaccination campaign will “last for many weeks.”

For more information about the Walker County Health Department’s plans to administer the vaccine or to inquire about availability, contact the health department at 706-638-5577.

The Georgia Department of Community Health’s Division of Public Health has set up an H1N1 information hotline for the public at 888-H1N1-INFO.

Yea, that's because the CDC in Atlanta and other testing facilities were getting swamped with swabs and they told doctors to misdiagnose their patients with the swine flu even though they had NO evidence that it was swine flu.

Doctor's Oath: Do No Harm.

Injecting anything toxic into someone's bloodstream is doing harm! These doctors "ensure" that the vaccine is safe. How can they? They had/have NO part in making the vaccine. The vaccine is made by the lowest overseas bidder! I want to get a vial and do my own research on it. I wonder if the Health Department will sell me a shot. Better yet, give me one, after all, they are free! Then I can send it off to a chemical analyst to prove my points. I think I'll go ask them Monday

Remember the avian flu pandemic?

Remember the predictions?

Remember the actual outcome?

At least some news aganecies are doing some actual research:

If you've been diagnosed "probable" or "presumed" 2009 H1N1 or "swine flu" in recent months, you may be surprised to know this: odds are you didn’t have H1N1 flu.

In fact, you probably didn’t have flu at all. That's according to state-by-state test results obtained in a three-month-long CBS News investigation.

One more fact!

The Regular Flu Virus has killed on average 800 people per week in the U.S. The swine flu has killed about 1,000 the ENTIRE YEAR!

Why is the H1N1 flu virus being held in such higher regard as to how much more dangerous it is when the H1N1 kills 400% less people than regular flu?

This sounds like another Gardasil/Cevarix-type where the drug actually does nothing but leads to other life-threatening and life-altering side-effects.

Considering my "facts" come from the actual inserts for the H1N1 shot, I wouldn't consider them falsified.

The last thing I'm going to say on this issue is this: Why even take the risk of getting Alzheimer's, Guillian-Barre's, Autism, Mercury poisoning, Auto-immune deficiencies, and/or severe seizures and stroke when the virus that this inoculation is for is basically harmless? We need to wake up to Big Pharma and start fighting them and the medications that they are lining their pocket's with. I would bet, if I had a fancy Doctorates in Medicine and could afford it, that these doctors are getting kickbacks by giving these shots out. Haven't you guys ever heard the saying, "There's no such thing as free lunch?" Someone is paying for it, and it is us, the taxpayer! When paid BILLIONS of our tax dollars to Big Pharma to produce a useless vaccine for a relatively harmless virus! The U.S. government wasted all of that tax money on these vaccines because no one wanted them, and then they heightened the "dangerousness" of the virus. Then they created an artificial scarcity to induce a higher demand for this killer of a vaccine! It's basic economics.

Always Question Everything!

A lot of people have concerns about vaccines, and we want them to be making wise, personal choices for their families based on the right information -- accurate, factual information. I refer people to this Website to help them separate vaccine fact from fiction: http://www.factcheck.org/2009/10/inoculation-misinformation/.

“Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts” is an oft-quoted epigram meaning opinions can differ, but those opinions must be based on factual truths. The first post on this thread is long on unfounded accusations, false statements labeled as “fact” and reflects a lack of understanding of basic health and medical issues.

Take just this one statement: ‘These H1N1 shots have Mercury, Squalene, Thimerosol (sic) and other adjuvants in them.” Actually, the H1N1 vaccine approved for use in the US by the FDA does not contain squalene or any other adjuvants. Adjuvants are substances that make vaccines work better, and the H1N1 vaccine used in Europe does contain squalene. Millions of doses of vaccines containing squalene have been given for years in Europe without any problems, but the H1N1 vaccine being used in the US does not contain any adjuvants. Period.

Also, Thimerosal is not an adjuvant. It’s a preservative containing ethyl mercury and is used in the multi-dose H1N1 vaccine. The Institute of Medicine and many other medical authorities have looked very closely at thimerosal and whether it has long-term health effects, whether it's linked to autism or other neurological problems, and found there's no scientific basis for those concerns.

But because we know people have concerns -- even if the science doesn't support those concerns -- public health has procured H1N1 vaccine that's thimerosal-free. All of the nasal spray or mist form of vaccine being offered is a thimerosal-free, and we've also got prefilled single syringes that will not contain thimerosal. So if you’re concerned about this, it should not keep you from getting the H1N1 vaccine.

One final note on thimerosal and vaccine safety: In February 2009, the first definitive findings of the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program’s Omnibus Autism Proceeding were handed down by three Court of Federal Claims Special Masters. The court found in favor of the science that demonstrates no causal relationship between vaccines and autism, adding that petitioners had “fallen far short” of establishing such a link.

Regarding Guillain–Barré syndrome and flu vaccine: The risk of Guillain–Barré syndrome as a result of receiving vaccination is less than the risk of Guillain–Barré syndrome as a consequence of contracting natural influenza illness: http://aje.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/169/3/382?ijKey=46aa524df9c9693cbb97bc3c202ac136e0e56919&keytype2=tf_ipsecsha

Regarding the Washington Redskins cheerleader: This is sad and unfortunate, but every day, bad things happen to people. When you vaccinate a lot of people in a short period of time, some of those things are going to happen to some people by chance alone. A certain number of people are going to be involved in a car accident -- or have a heart attack or a stroke -- after receiving a vaccine, but that does not establish a cause-effect relationship between the vaccine and the bad thing.

After numerous studies, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization and American Medical Association have all found that the miniscule risk of vaccines are outweighed by the tremendous benefits they provide to individual and public health.

I’m not going to respond to any more posts from this individual. It’s a waste of time. I simply encourage people to do their own research and use accurate, factual information to help make wise, personal decisions about whether or not to get the H1N1 vaccine. Visit www.flu.gov for complete information on H1N1 influenza.

To Logan Boss:

Your claims are warrant less! The actual insert of the H1N1 shot says it has Thimerosol, Squalene, and side-effects of Guillian-Barre syndrome! Here's the link to the insert from FDA.gov:

http://www.fda.gov/downloads/biologicsbloodvaccines/vaccines/approvedproducts/ucm182404.pdf

I will quote some excerpts from the insert!

"Immunosuppressive therapies may reduce the immune response to Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine." (This is Squalene!)

"Multi-dose vial, 5 mL, contains thimerosal, a mercury derivative, added as a preservative. Each 0.5 mL dose contains 25 mcg mercury." (There's your Thimerosol!)

"If Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) has occurred within 6 weeks of previous influenza vaccination, the decision to give Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine should be based on careful consideration of the potential benefits and risks." (There's your Guillian-Barre's)

That's just the top of the iceburg! Read the insert for yourselves people! I have disproved everything this chump has said. Medical Doctors are not supposed to lie and inject the population with toxic metals!

To Logan Boss:

Your information contains absolutely NO merit. Who exactly do you work for? Here people, read the insert for yourselves off the FDA's own website!

http://www.fda.gov/downloads/biologicsbloodvaccines/vaccines/approvedproducts/ucm182404.pdf

The insert itself disproves everything you mentioned. Not mentioning the thousands of other doctors around the WORLD not taking the vaccine! New World Order cronies like yourself need to have your licenses taken away for malpractice.

Not mandatory huh? Paying taxes is not mandatory either, but if you don't pay them you'll go to jail. If anyone wants REAL information on this DANGEROUS vaccine email me @ "mpliles5@yahoo.com"

This bio-terrorism and the doctors that spread it must be stopped!

Dear Editor:

As a medical doctor and public health professional, I believe the risk of not receiving the H1N1 influenza (aka swine flu) vaccine vastly outweighs the almost nonexistent risk of receiving it and strongly recommend that people, especially those in high-risk groups, get the H1N1 flu shot when it becomes available. However, it’s a personal decision, and you need to decide for yourself if it’s a precaution you should take to protect yourself, your loved ones and others from this potentially fatal disease. High-risk groups are:

• Pregnant women

• Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age

• Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel

• All people from 6 months through 24 years of age

• Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.

Fortunately, most people who get infected with H1N1 will do just fine with a few days’ bed rest and self-care, not going to school or work and infecting other people and without having to seek medical attention. However, some people do need to seek medical attention, and great information for parents and others about warning signs to look for are available at www.flu.gov.

Electing to receive the H1N1 vaccine is completely voluntary. I’ve elected to receive it when it’s offered to me and will recommend that my three sons, ages 16, 20 and 22, receive it when it becomes available to them. I noted this week that the President’s two young daughters, ages 11 and 8, have received the vaccine. I’ve already had my seasonal flu shot and encourage others to consider doing that, too.

I encourage you to use the time you’re waiting for the H1N1 vaccine to become available to learn more about H1N1 influenza and vaccine to help you make that personal decision. For complete information about H1N1 influenza and the vaccine, I recommend you visit www.flu.gov. To help you sort fact from fiction, I recommend you visit http://www.factcheck.org/2009/10/inoculation-misinformation/.

We wish we had more H1N1 vaccine available right now and appreciate the frustration people are having as they are unable to find it. Over the next several weeks, however, it should become more visible and easily available in our community. Eventually, we expect to have plenty available so anyone who wants to receive the H1N1 vaccine will be able to do so.

Although this H1N1 virus is new, the vaccine is not. It was made and tested in exactly the same way that flu vaccines are always made and tested. We have a high degree of confidence in its safety. We did not cut any corners in manufacturing or testing in terms of safety, nor will we cut any corners in oversight of the vaccine. We’re using the same factories, the same production methods and the same safeguards to make the H1N1 vaccine as we use for seasonal flu vaccine, vaccine that’s been used by hundreds of millions of people and has an excellent safety record. Had this strain of flu emerged just a few months earlier, there would not have been any need for two vaccines this year; 2009 H1N1 would simply have been included as one of the components in the annual flu vaccine.

The risks of H1N1 influenza are clear. So are the facts. I encourage you to educate yourself so you can separate myth from reality and intelligently assess the spurious alarms spread by those who would make us fear vaccines more than the illnesses they prevent.

Sincerely,

C. Wade Sellers, M.D.

1,800 doses of Mercury and Thimerosol. Do your research people! These H1N1 shots have Mercury, Squalene, Thimerosol, and other adjuvants in them. They are KNOWN to cause autism, Guillian-Barre syndrome, Dementia and Alzheimer's! Read the insert for the injection! It will tell you all of this on the insert! The H1N1 shot GIVES you the swine flu as well as lowers your immunity and clogs your brain with toxic metals!

Fact: The H1N1 shot has Mercury in it. EXTREMELY toxic metals are being injected into your blood stream.

Fact: The H1N1 shot lowers your immune efficiency so that your body will accept the virus easier as well as allowing other harmful virus to enter and infect you as well.

Fact: The H1N1 shot can and HAS cause sudden and intense stroke, brain damage, and seizures! Don't believe me? Google "Washington Redskins Cheerleader Flu Shot"

Fact: There is NO proof that ANY flu shot stops an infection of ANY flu virus! Viruses mutate as rapidly as the Toxic Avenger!

If you don't believe me, do the research yourselves! If you still want to get your toxic shot, then maybe you need to be sterilized and your blood intoxicated.
