The LaFayette Lady Ramblers are two wins away from a North Georgia Athletic Conference softball sweep.

The regular season champions punched their ticket to the best-of-three finals by run-ruling Heritage on Friday, 9-1, in a semifinal game.

Raleigh Lewis provided the power, smacking two home runs, driving in three runs, and scoring three times, while Katie Cain also launched a homer and knocked in two runs.

Shortstop Kayleigh Goff had a pair of doubles and scored twice, and was the catalyst of a 6-4-3 double play. McKenzie Hogue, Shayla Ludy, and Jade Maggard each had two hits in the win.

Lindsey Shepherd pitched a complete game, striking out three and allowing four hits and no earned runs.

LaFayette will take on No. 3 seed Ringgold in the championship series. The Lady Tigers took down No. 2 Gordon Lee, 3-1, in Friday's other semifinal.

Game 1 of the finals will be held at Ringgold at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The finals two games, if needed, will be played Monday at LaFayette.
