Letter to the editor: Vote for Heiskell

Dear editor:

As a longtime resident of Walker County, I am writing to show my support for Bebe Heiskell in the upcoming election for Walker County commissioner. Bebe has done more for the county in the past 12 years than I could have ever imagined.

I personally appreciate how available she has made herself as commissioner. If you have ever attended one of her community meetings she holds in each area of Walker County, then you know how honest and open she is about her job.

You can tell that Bebe genuinely cares about Walker County, and she serves as the commissioner for the people. I hope everyone makes it to the polls on July 31 or early votes by July 27 and votes for Bebe Heiskell for Walker County commissioner.

I know I will.

The write in candidate for walker county commissioner must withdraw her candidacy for Walker County Commissioner due to her poor character, her association with known scoundrels, her lack of experience for any public office, and for the fact that she owes back taxes to the very county she is proposing to serve. She is a disgrace!!!

Corruption, you criticize someone for their spelling. You need to proof read your response."Walker County does need change but not at the expense that of complete nut like Shaw". Now whose literacy is in question?

It would be nice if people would get thier facts straight and use spell check since thier level of literacy requires it. Everyone wants to blame Bebe for Bluebird but does everyone realize that the property owned is within the city limits of Lafayette ? Did anyone ever stop and think that maybe it was Lafayette that dropped the ball? Walker County does need change but not at the expense that of complete nut like Shaw. He is rude, obnoxious, arrogant and has no cuth. Even his own family can't stand him. It's all good, only the few fom LU are supporting him anyway. The are probably the ones waiting on a open County position if Shaw is elected ... lol what a joke ..

Few? Which part of his family cannot stand him? Most people do blame Bebe for BlueBird. She'll take credit for the good things, but never the responsibility for the bad. And tun from mistakes like SunRea and the Lookout Valley project. IF she took MORE responsibility, she would not be behind in this election.

No matter how you look at it. I beleive in term limits. BeBe has served 3 terms for a total of 12 years - Yes, it is time to let someone else do the job. Everybody is expendible!

Just the tip of the iceberg ... She mess up with Blue Bird and the county lost near 1000 jobs, out buying rugs while on the clock AND using tax exempt ID illegal and now TV12 reports on the Durham Trail construction and 3 supposed major violations could amount to hundreds of thousands in fines. All residents directly affected signed a petition opposing the location of the planned trail. That petition was given to Commissioner Heiskell two years ago. OH YES, She is a keeper... NOT.

I'm going to go out on a limb and ask this...how much money did Bebe Heiskell pay Virginia Mason from Chickamauga to write this letter at the expense of reaching into the pocket book full of tax dollars that Carolyn Walker collects so Bebe can blow it however she feels...Because one of three things has had to happen here..eiher A ) This woman was a paid endorsment and was paid to write the letter to be published in the Walker County Messenger....B ) This woman has been into Bebe's secret stash of County funded alcohol and drank more than her fair share of the "Nimrodic Inducing Liquid" or C ) This woman is an escapee from a facility for the mentally ill and criminally insane....I would like to see the Walker County Messenger perform both an IQ test and background check on people before allowing the submission of something so full of crap be allowed to be published... What's next? A letter to the editor comparing Steve Wilson to Jesus Christ???

Well I am not sure what you can imagine, but I really don't think it can be very much. I have tried to get Bebe to address an issue for over 5 years. She has FAILED epically to even try to fix, adjust, or help. I have given 20 years of my life defending the Right we as American citizens have and she has ignored that and allowed them to be violated over and over. I am not the only one. We sent her a signed petition with over 147 signatures asking her to meet with use to help creat a peaceful resolution. She has lied to us repeatedly, ignored the problem, hidden behind fear of facing an obstacle. Now that I am bring the vote against her, she had her campaign manager call me and ask what I wanted her to do. I told him I had asked several times and even given her several suggestions. What do I want her to do? .......... Get out of the way and let somebody who actually cares about Walker County get in there and actually do something.

bebe is a true politictian, shakes your hand smiles, says what you want to hear.

Why no story on here about Bebe and the county filling in Rock Creek and facing hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines and don oliver says they need to to make it go away because it could a political disaster. info from news 12
