· Food distribution of non-perishables will occur Friday, May 20, at Gateway Bank and Trust in Ringgold, 5102 Alabama Highway (Ga. 151), from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Catoosa County tornado victims will be able to pick up supplies at this location.

· Community Baptist Church in Rock Spring will be giving away clothes, food and water Friday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 423-413-5451. The supplies are leftovers from FEMA and are available to whomever needs them.

· Ringgold Telephone Company (RTC) and Gateway Bank and Trust will host a Distribution Day May 20 for local tornado victims who are in need of supplies. A tent will be set-up at the Gateway Bank and Trust in Ringgold from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Victims of the disaster may stop by to pick up basic supplies such as canned food, paper goods, personal hygiene items and more. Families with no means of transportation may request delivery of supplies by calling Gateway Bank and Trust at 706-965-5500.

· SingAkadamie, the tri-state region’s first private/elite show choir, presents its “God and Country” Concert May 20 at First Baptist Church in Lafayette at 7 p.m. The concert will feature guest artist and Los Angeles producer, Eddie Reasoner. It will benefit disaster relief efforts. Tickets for the concert are $7 for adults and $5 for children. For more information, visit www.singakadamie.com.

· The LaFayette High School graduation ceremony will be held Friday, May 20, at 8 p.m. in the football stadium.

· The Gordon Lee High School graduation ceremony will be held Friday, May 20, at 8 p.m. in the football stadium.

· Hope for Northwest Georgia is co-sponsoring an urban community prayer breakfast Friday, May 20, with Dr. John M. Perkins, nationally known civil rights leader and Christian community development pioneer. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at New City Fellowship, located at 2412 E. · The147th anniversary of the Civil War Battle of Resaca will be reenacted May 20-22 in Gordon County at Resaca Battlefield. The bugler will sound the charge at 2 p.m. each day.

· Closed Door Entertainment presents “Greater Tuna” at The Colonnade May 20, 21, 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee performance May 28 at 1 p.m.

· The Battle for Christ competition has been rescheduled for Friday night, May 20 beginning at 6 p.m. at The Colonnade. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Children's Advocacy Center as originally scheduled.
