Down 2-0 in the sixth inning, the Chattanooga Valley Middle School Eagles exploded for five runs in the final two innings to collect their first win of the baseball season on Friday, 5-2, over Lakeview.

Ivy Boehm pitched the full seven innings, allowing six hits and three walks while striking out seven. He also added one hit at the plate.

Will Hodges was 2 for 4 with a double, while Austin Thompson and Tanner Hill each went 2 for 4 with a pair of RBIs each. Dakota McGraw and Bryan Crouser each singled while McGraw drove in a run.
