A Chattanooga woman was arrested after she allegedly assaulted and threatened to kill a woman at a Fort Ogle-thorpe laundry mat.

According to the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department:

Kimberly Lynn Brock, 28, of Frost Street in Chattanooga, Tenn., was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 23, on charges of terroristic threats and acts and simple assault following the incident that took place at the Wash Daze Coin Laundry on LaFayette Road. Brock’s bond was set at $5,000.

Officers were dispatched to the scene shortly after 7:30 p.m. in reference to a fight between two females, and were advised that a gun may be involved, reports show.

“When I arrived, the fight had already broken up, and the offender (Brock) had fled the scene,” officer Michael Fergerson said in the report. “I spoke with the victim, who stated she was washing her clothes when the offender began cursing and yelling at her. She says she ignored the woman, and then finished her clothes.”

The victim stated that after finishing her laundry she attempted to leave, and upon exiting the building, she no-ticed Brock sitting on the hood of a car flashing her breasts while cursing and yelling, reports show.

The victim says Brock then got in her face and the two began fighting.

Following the fight, the victim said, Brock threatened to blow her brains out, and then ran to her car and began searching for something.

Brock took off running when police arrived on the scene, reports show.

Multiple witnesses, including the victim's husband, gave the same story of what took place before police arrived.

Brock's sister was also at the scene, and told police that she felt that the victim kept looking at her, and that Brock began yelling and cursing at the victim on her behalf after she told her about it.

Brock's sister also stated that the two were there with two men earlier that were driving a red Ford Explorer and that Brock had possibly fled the scene and caught back up with the men.

Brock was then contacted by phone by her sister, and confirmed that she was indeed with the two men at a nearby location.

Brock's sister went and picked her up, and shortly thereafter, the two women were stopped by officer Fergerson along U.S. 27, reports show.

“I conducted a traffic stop, and the front seat passenger was identified as Kimberly Brock from the earlier inci-dent,” Fergerson said. “I arrested her and placed her in my vehicle.”

Fergerson was then advised by dispatch that Brock had an active warrant for probation violation from the city of Ringgold.

“When I asked her what happened at the laundry mat, she stated the victim came at her yelling and cursing, grabbed her by the throat, and pushed her,” Fergerson said. “She stated she fled the scene because she was scared of the victim.”
