Ringgold’s Dawson named Georgia’s Most Beautiful Eyes winner

Prevent Blindness America and its affiliate, Prevent Blindness Georgia, recently named five-year-old Lexi Dawson of Ringgold as the winner of the Georgia’s Most Beautiful Eyes contest.

She is the daughter of Casie and Andrew Dawson of Ringgold.

As a state winner, Lexi will receive a free pair of Eagle Eyes® Optics Rock-It™ Sunglasses for Kids that includes a kids’ Fisher® space pen. She will also advance to the next round of judging where celebrity judges, including broadcaster Larry King, “Fox NFL Sunday” host Curt Menefee and actress Barbara Eden, from the television classic “I Dream of Jeannie,” will choose the national winner.

The national winner of the Most Beautiful Eyes Contest will receive a $10,000 educational scholarship. In addition, the winner and two family members will enjoy a weekend in Chicago to attend the Prevent Blindness America annual awards banquet on Nov. 2, where the scholarship will be officially awarded.
