A Chattanooga woman was arrested in Fort Oglethorpe after she was allegedly caught shoplifting while she had her two small children with her.

According to the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department:

Nickita Jacinda Boyd, 28, of Quinn Adams Street in Chattanooga, Tenn., was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 2, on a charge of shoplifting. She has been released from jail on bond.

Officers were dispatched to the Rugged Wearhouse at 791 Ga. 2 (Battlefield Parkway) about 3:30 p.m. in regards to a shoplifter in custody.

Boyd allegedly tried to steal $70 worth of clothing from the store, reports show.
