Between 6 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 9:55 a.m. on Oct. 25, a burglary occurred at a maintenance shed on Cloud Springs Road in Ringgold, resulting in the theft of nearly $8,000 worth of merchandise.

The victim told police he arrived at work to find the side door to the building unlocked, and that an unknown offender(s) had come into the shop and stolen a welder from a welding cart.

He stated that he called another worker with the shop who was the last one to leave the night before and that the co-worker claimed that the shop was locked properly when he left.

A serial number for the stolen LM 25 Pro Wire Feed Welder was not available at the time the incident was reported.

Later in the day, it was realized that a Ford F-150 truck had also been stolen from the property during the burglary.

The victim stated the he didn't realize the "parts truck" was missing until he went to get something from it.

The stolen vehicle was entered into the National and Georgia Crime Information Center databases (NCIC/GCIC), and the case was turned over to detective Timothy Busby.

If you have any information on these cases, contact the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office at 706-935-2424 or 706-965-6863. Anyone with information leading to the arrest and prosecution could receive a cash reward up to $1,000.
