· Between 11 a.m. on Jan. 5 and 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 23, a forced-entry burglary occurred to a storage unit at 176 Stubby Lane in Ringgold resulting in the theft of more than $11,000 worth of merchandise.

The victim told police he arrived at his storage unit to find that someone had cut off the lock and stolen numerous items.

Household items such as a General Electric stove, a heating and air unit, and a chandelier were taken, in addition to numerous tools.

A table saw, a miter saw, a drum set, two doors, and three boxes of hardwood flooring were also taken during the incident.

The total estimated value of the stolen property is $11,340.

The case was turned over to detective Ed Vickrey.

· Between 5 p.m. on Jan. 20 and 4:16 p.m. on Jan. 21, a forced-entry residential burglary occurred on Oak Street in Rossville resulting in the theft of nearly $1,500 worth of firearms and electronics from the home.

The victim told police that she arrived to find the front door of her residence unlocked and several items missing from within the home.

A nickel-plated .38-calibur revolver with pearl grips, two plasma televisions, and 30 Hydrocodone pills were among the items stolen from the home.

The case was turned over to detective Ronald Roach.
