“After more than two decades working in the real estate services industry, I don’t think I have ever been more excited about the future,” O’Shea said. “I could not be happier about coming to work for Crye-Leike. This company has designed and implemented more quality tools to help buyers, sellers and agents be successful unlike any other real estate firm I’ve seen.”
Since 1989, O’Shea has worked as a licensed realtor. Prior to moving back home to the greater Chattanooga area, he worked with Garden Lakes Realty Co. from 1989-2010, serving as a broker and vice president of sales management. Ian most recently served as an associate broker with Prudential Realty from June 2010-June 2012.
“Making the move to Crye-Leike was almost a no-brainer for me,” O’Shea said. “After meeting the agents in Crye-Leike’s north Georgia office and seeing their enthusiasm for the future of business locally, I realized coming to Crye-Leike was a perfect fit for me.”
He holds a real estate broker’s license in Tennessee and Georgia, assisting buyers and sellers in and around Catoosa, Walker and Hamilton counties. He specializes in all types of residential real estate sales and especially enjoys working with first-time home buyers, according to a media release. He also assists clients with commercial real estate transactions, new home and rehab construction, land development, condominium sales and multi-family investment properties.
O’Shea is a member of the Georgia Association of Realtors (GAR), the Tennessee Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He is a past state director for the GAR and a past president for the Greater Rome Board of Realtors. He is also a member of the Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce, Ringgold United Methodist Church and the Southern British Car Club of Chattanooga.
Some of his top real estate successes include earning Sales Person of the Year in 1993, 1998 and 2008. He also earned recognition from the Rome Area Heritage Foundation for the restoration of a significant historic home built in 1908.
“We are extremely fortunate to have hired Ian as the new broker of our north Georgia branch,” said Dan Griess, Crye-Leike Chattanooga Region general manager. “Ian brings a proven track record in sales, as well as previous management experience to our company, and will be a great addition to the team in our region. We look forward to Ian taking our Fort Oglethorpe office to new heights.”
He and his wife Michelle live in Ringgold. In his free time, O’Shea enjoys landscaping, restoring antique cars and playing tennis and golf. You can contact him at Crye-Leike’s north Georgia office at 423-802-1123 or Ian.Oshea@Crye-Leike.com.
