The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Harrison, an alum of Ridgeland High School, had his best game of the season in a 31-27 win over Faulkner last weekend with seven solo tackles, three pass breakups, and a forced fumble. He also came up with a critical interception, returning it 55 yards for an important second-half touchdown.
Harrison has 26 total tackles this season to go with two sacks, four pass breakups, and three picks, two of which he has returned for touchdowns, in helping to lead the Patriots’ defense to a national Top 10 ranking in turnovers.
No. 9-ranked UC has won 11 straight games dating back to last season, and they are 6-0 overall this season. They will put that streak on the line at No. 2 Georgetown (Ky.) this Saturday.
