Eight-run seventh lifts GLMS past Lakeview

The Gordon Lee Middle School softball team rallied in the late innings to beat Lakeview, 10-5, on Tuesday.

Faith Alexander went 3-for-4 with four RBIs for the Lady Trojans. Paxton Grimes picked up two hits and Mary Kate Pritchett added a triple. Laine Hicks drew a key walk in the top of the seventh inning to jump start what became an eight-run inning.

Gordon Lee (11-1 in NGAC play) will host Rossville in their regular season finale on Thusrday. The NGAC tournament will begin on Monday.
