Physical therapy can help improve your quality of life. When adults and children experience pain associated with movement, they turn to physical therapists who are the movement experts. Physical therapists use their knowledge and skills to help people regain control of their daily lives.

LaFayette Physical Therapy is dedicated to giving back to our wonderful community. We host a series of events targeting different age groups that allows us to promote movement and wellness in our community.

We held our fifth annual October Olympics on Oct. 9 at Gilbert Elementary School for grades K-5. It was a full day of games, relays and physical activities to address timing, agility, stability, balance, coordination, manipulative skills and fun.

We hosted our third monthly lunch and learn on Oct. 16 from noon-2 p.m. at LaFayette Physical Therapy. Dr. Brandon Cincere from Ortho South in Chattanooga discussed a variety of orthopedic diagnoses and treatments. We played games, had food and fun! Please call LaFayette Physical Therapy if you would like to attend a future lunch and learn.

We will host our fifth annual Seniorcize event Oct. 24 at LaFayette Senior Center from 9:30-noon. This event is designed to promote movement for our geriatric community through the use of games, dance, music and fun. Seniors will be able to participate no matter what level of physical limitations or challenges they have.

LaFayette Physical Therapy is a private practice that has served this community for more than 20 years. We provide treatment for various diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, back, neck, shoulder and arthritic pain, headaches, balance, gait, weight loss solutions and many more.
