LaFayette rolls up Lakeview in regular season finale

KaDarrin Ramsey had 154 yards and two touchdown on nine carries, while Logan Teasley threw for three scores as the LaFayette Middle School Ramblers wrapped up their NGAC regular season slate with a 43-12 win over Lakeview on Thursday.

Teasley had 92 yards passing on 5-of-6 attempts. Two of those scores went to tight end Donte Jackson, who racked up 46 yards on his two catches. Bryson Giddy had an 18-yard TD catch, and recovered a fumble in the end zone for another score.

The Warriors, who trailed 29-0 at halftime, scored on a kickoff return to open the second half, and added an 88-yard TD run late in the game.

LaFayette ended the regular season with a 3-4 record and in a tie for the fourth and final playoff spot, but their playoff fate was unknown as of press time.
