Ringgold Rotary’s Fall Back 5K set for Nov. 3

The Ringgold Rotary Club will host the 2012 Fall Back 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on Nov. 3. All proceeds will help provide support for The Ringgold Rotary Club’s initiatives throughout the community and to help rebuild a portion of the Ringgold High School’s Athletic Stadium.

The race will begin in the Ringgold High School parking lot at 8:30 am. Racers may register the morning of the race or sign up on active.com.

Following the storms April 27, 2011, Ringgold High School’s athletic stadium suffered severe damage. A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to help rebuild the scoreboard area of the stadium.

The race is sponsored by Ringgold Telephone Co., Patty & Young Attorneys at Law, Price Ringgold Drugs, Millennium Medical and Weight Loss Center, Coca-Cola, Northwest Georgia Bank, Simply Mail, Northwest Georgia Dentisry, Georgia Power, K-9 Tub Time, Chuck Tindell, Greased Light’n, mBellish Salon, Weeks & Peters Insurance, Randall Peters, Don Tindell, Inc., Wilson Funeral Home, Katherine Cox, OD, DH&W, and Costco.

Rotary is an organization of business, professional and community leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world, according to a media release.

Ringgold Rotary Club represents a cross-section of the community’s business and professional men and women, as well as community leaders. The main objective of Rotary is service — in the community, in the workplace and throughout the world.
