North Georgia Youth Football League set for Super Bowl

The North Georgia Youth Football League held its semifinal games this past Saturday.

The 6 and 7 year-old division saw the Chickamauga Trojans shut out the Trion Bulldogs, 30-0, while the Summerville Indians blanked Ringgold Blue, 20-0.

In the 8 and 9 year-old division, the Chattanooga Valley Eagles edged Trion White, 18-16, while Ringgold White earned a 20-6 win over Trion Blue.

The 10 and 11 year-old semis saw the Summerville Indians trump LaFayette Orange, 42-0, while the Trion Bulldogs got past the Chattanooga Valley Eagles, 22-20.

The North Georgia Youth Football League Super Bowl will be held at Ridgeland High School this Saturday, beginning with the 6 and 7 year-old finals at 11 a.m. The 8 and 9 year-old title game will follow at 1:15 p.m., while the 10 and 11 year-old championship will begin at approximately 3:15.

Opening ceremonies will start approximately 30 minutes prior to each game.
