Principal Brandon Mosgrove presented Stoker with a certificate of appreciation, a Board of Education resolution and a bouquet of flowers when she was announced as a Walker Wonder Worker.
Mosgrove detailed the many roles Stoker fills from the front office to the classroom to the playground. Called “Ms. Ann” by students and staff, Stoker shows enthusiasm for all she does whether subbing for teachers, reading with students, volunteering in the Parent Center or helping out with activities such as Field Day and Fall Festival. She even makes copies, laminates items and cleans up the workroom.
“We are very fortunate to have Ms. Ann in our school and are so proud that the rest of the county will now know what a jewel she is to us,” said Karen Bryson, Parent Center and volunteer coordinator.
Stoker thanked Stone Creek Elementary for giving her the opportunity to be a part of the educational process and thanked the Board for honoring her for doing what she loves.
