In the 8-under division, the Georgia Starz, based in Chattanooga Valley, went 6-2 in the tournament, battling their way through the losers' bracket to make the finals.
The Starz opened with wins over the Bremen All-Stars and Fannin County, but fell to the bottom half of the bracket after a loss to the Commerce Tigers.
However, the Starz refused to fold. They knocked off the Whitfield County Bombers, Fannin County, and the Whitfield County Starz in order, forcing a rematch with Commerce.
The girls from Flintstone got their revenge on the Tigers, but couldn't keep things going against Bartow County Blue in the championship match.
Two Boynton teams, the Crocs and the Divas, each went 0-2 in the tournament. The Rossville Storm opened with a win over the Divas, but were eliminated with back-to-back losses to Commerce and Jackson County.
In the 12-under division, the Chickamauga Thunder also made an impressive run through the losers' bracket before falling short in the title game.
The Thunder lost their tournament opener to the Whitfield All-Stars, but reeled off consecutive wins against Gordon County, Rock Spring, and Gordon County again before facing the Catoosa Nitemares in the losers' bracket finals.
The Thunder rolled past the Nitemares, but would fall to Union County in the championship game.
The Nitemares went 1-2 in the tournament, beating Whitfield's All-Stars before losing to Union County in the winners' bracket finals. They were eliminated with the loss to the Thunder. Rock Spring also participated in the tournament, going 0-3.
The 6-under division saw Boynton "A" defeat Boynton "B" in the finals, while Hall County beat Jackson County in the 10-under division title game. The Rock Spring Rockstarz went 1-2 in the 10-under division, beating the Whitfield Storm, but losing to Jackson County and Banks County.
The 14-under division, best-of-three series, was won by Hall County, who defeated Gordon County in two straight games.
