Catoosa County Fire Department and Fort Oglethorpe Fire-Rescue will co-host the third round of the Northwest Georgia Fire Chief’s Association’s Firefighter Muster.

“The muster is a competition between firefighters involving skills needed in the profession,” said battalion chief Steven Quinn. “The events are designed to invoke teamwork and cooperation while enjoying the spirit of competition.”

The event is Saturday, July 28, at 9 a.m. at Heritage High School, and teams from across north Georgia are expected for the competition.

The public is invited to bring a lawn chair and support their local firefighters as they compete for prizes.

T-shirts and food will be sold at the event and funds raised will benefit firefighter scholarships.
