Second Baptist Church at 500 West Main Street in LaFayette will host the Georgia Baptist mobile dental unit again this year. All dental work is free. In order to receive an opportunity for an appointment, you must be screened on Sept. 6 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Appointments will be made for Sept. 7 and Sept. 8 for fillings, extractions, and cleanings on a first-come first-served basis. Once appointments are filled, the church will begin a waiting list and may contact you if there is a cancellation. You must be at the church in person to be seen. No one can hold your place in line or sign in for you. Only patients over the age of 10 will be seen. Anyone under 18 must have a legal guardian present.
