Romney commits political demise?

Dear editor,

For months, we have been assaulted with worthless rhetoric from our presidential candidates. Neither has a plan to get our people back to work and to stop the staggering debt with which we are dealing. No one wants to hear cut all programs (all) by 10 percent and raise taxes. Political suicide for sure.

That, however, is not the main reason for this letter. The attack in the Middle East on the anniversary of 9-11 has been described as a terrorist attack.

Mr. Romney, in his rush to the camera, may have committed his political demise. Regardless of one’s political allegiance, the president should not be verbally attacked during a time of crisis. When asked his opinion of Romney’s statement, President Obama said wisely: “I’ll let the American public decide that.”

I wish I had a candidate.

You said that neither candidate has a plan; I beg to differ, the president is by his nature a very careful planner but just like in business to let others know of your plans only gives his enemy's advance notice so that they can head him off and they will and have no matter how good the plan is for the American people.

I trust The President to do what's best for America.
