A wild back-and-forth affair with several lead changes saw the last one go the way of the Rossville Lady Bulldogs as they returned from Whitfield County with a 12-10 win over New Hope on Friday.

Down 10-9 after four innings, Rossville (2-4) tied the game in the fifth on an RBI-single by Domonique Stubbs, and then took the lead for good in the top of the seventh.

Cortney Mooneyham tripled to lead off the inning and came on an RBI-single by Brook Wagner. Wagner would steal second, take third on a grounder off the bat of Stubbs, and score one a wild pitch.

Autumn Perry threw four innings, striking out one. She also went 4-for-5 at the plate with two RBIs. Jennifer Coates threw three innings, striking out four and walking none.

Wagner had three hits, two RBIs, and scored twice, while Stubbs also had three hits with two runs scored and an RBI.

Makenzie Howard, Madison Simmons, and Courtney Goins each had one hit and one RBI.
