Just as the name implies, this event will help individuals producing an agricultural product take it directly from the farm to the end consumer. Topics covered will include business planning and financing, legal and regulatory issues, food quality and safety concerns, formulation and packaging and distribution and sales.
As you can see, it will be a day packed full of information.
The registration fee is $39 and space is limited. All registration will be handled online at //tiny.cc/FarmToForkSeptember.
This event is a joint effort of the University of Georgia Center for Agribusiness and Economic Development and the Georgia Center of Innovation for Agribusiness.
Norman Edwards is coordinator of Walker County Extension Service.
