Chickamauga Woman’s Club plans fundraiser Oct. 6

The Chickamauga Woman’s Club members plan a fundraising luncheon Oct. 6 at noon at Rock Spring United Methodist Church in Rock Spring, including (from left) president Ginny Mason, Eulene Matthews, Carolyn Walker, Joyce Harrison, Trudy Arrington, Jeanne Bostick. Speakers for the event will include Nell Mahoney, columnist, author and inspirational speaker, pianist Doug Woodruff and soloist Jackie Morgan. The theme is “Busy Women Impacting Their Community.” There will be a silent purse auction, commemorative ornament sale and a fashion show. Tickets are $15 and advanced purchase is required. The Chickamauga Woman’s club is a non-profit, service organization whose primary focus is promoting educational and civic improvements in Chickamauga and the surrounding community.
