Shayla Ludy stayed red-hot at the plate, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, and three runs scored. Katie Cain and Katie Cook each went 3-for-3 with a double. Cain drove in one run and scored three times, while Cook scored once and drove in three.
Raleigh Lewis and Jade Maggard had two hits and two RBIs each, while Shayla Youngblood had two hits, drove in a run, and scored three times. Kayleigh Goff singled and had two RBIs, while Kiki Evans and McKenzie Hogue each drove in one run.
Lindsey Shepherd pitched three innings, striking out six batters. Ashton Stalling threw the final two innings and did not allow an earned run.
Individual stats for Chattanooga Valley were not available as of press time.
LaFayette (14-5) will play its last regular season game at home on Friday against Ringgold. The NGAC tournament will get going on Monday.
