The Georgia Northwestern Lady Bobcats hosted Bryan College at the Rossville Athletic Center on Monday in a rematch of an August road battle in Dayton, Tenn.

LFO alum Alysa Daniel led GNTC with six kills in the non-region match, but the visiting Lady Lions claimed the best-of-five match, 25-13, 25-16, and 25-13.

Head coach Carrie Powell’s team will have just a few days of rest before her all-freshman squad hosts region rival West Georgia Tech in Rossville Friday night at 6 p.m. The very next day, GNTC will head to Huntsville, Ala. to face Oakwood University at 9 p.m. eastern.

“We are playing a very tough schedule this year and are fielding a very young roster,” said Powell. “We are learning a lot, but we are also getting hungrier as the season goes forward.”

Georgia Northwestern competes in the NJCAA’s Region XVII and awards all students free admission with student ID.
