Families at or below the poverty line with children ages 12 and younger and seniors ages 60 and older are invited to register for the Angel Tree program. Through the generosity of donors, the Angel Tree provides clothing, toys and other items to qualified participants. Registration continues Oct. 29-Nov. 2 and Nov. 5-7 for the greater Chattanooga and Cleveland areas.
In Chattanooga, register at 5001 Covington St. off Rossville Boulevard, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and only on Thursdays from noon to 7 p.m.
In Cleveland, register at Mt. Olive East Church of God at 956 6th St. N.E., by appointment only at 423-308-3467.

Volunteers are needed for the Angel Tree program, as well as other seasonal efforts like bell-ringing to raise money for the non-profit’s many ministries. Additionally, volunteers may host Christmas parties for low-income seniors, fill stockings with everyday essentials for seniors or fill backpacks for local homeless.
