A four-day search for a missing Ringgold woman came to an end on Tuesday when authorities located the girl in Alabama in the company of her wanted boyfriend.

According to the East Ridge (Tenn.) Police Department, 19-year-old Marissa Patterson and her boyfriend, 24-year-old Robert Pope Morris, were found and confronted by law enforcement, who took Morris into custody on active warrants.

Authorities in East Ridge and neighboring counties had been looking for Patterson since she was last heard from late Friday night, Nov. 2.

Marissa's family and friends began to worry late Friday night when the teen was not at the Walgreen's pharmacy in East Ridge, where she claimed she'd be, while her car was found unattended with the keys still in it.

The car, a 2005 red Honda Civic, had reportedly been involved in an a hit-and-run accident involving Morris in Fort Oglethorpe at approximately 9:19 p.m. that day before the duo went missing.

Patterson's father stated earlier in the week that Marissa's cell phone started going directly to voicemail right after she last contacted family, and that Morris' phone did the same thing approximately an hour later.

Patterson also said that his daughter began dating Robert in July.

Morris is being charged with probation violation and hit-and-run by the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department.

Police have yet to say if Patterson accompanied Morris willingly.

Patterson's parents did not return messages seeking comment Wednesday morning.

Of course she went with him willingly. They were probably trying to avoid him going back to jail because of the accident, which was probably his fault. How could worry their family to death over a man/woman? They deserve all the grief they are going to bring each other.
