NGAC WRESTLING: Heritage captures Traditional

The Heritage Middle School Generals put eight wrestlers in the finals, won five individual titles, and completed the North Georgia Athletic Conference sweep after winning the league's traditional title at Ridgeland High School on Saturday.

Heritage finished with 206 points, followed by Gordon Lee (173.5), Trion (152), Ringgold (137), Lakeview (67), LaFayette (64), Chattanooga Valley (63), Dade County (51), and Rossville (35).

Blake Bryant (78 pounds), David Freeman (86), Dylan Jernigan (100), Chucky Thurman (115), and Tanner Nance (180) won titles for the Generals.

Trion finished with four champions in Cole Luallen (108), Henri Reynoso (140), Logan Blevins (150), and Jake Wells (165). Ringgold had three individual champions in Skyler Lohmann (72), Roston Droke (94), and Griffin Green (123).

Cole Ingram (130) won for LaFayette, while Chris Henderson (285) took first place for Rossville.
