A Rossville man was arrested for a violent exchange with a woman on Christmas Day.

According to the Walker County Sheriff’s office:

Bradley Eugene Bynum of Wendy Leigh Circle in Rossville was arrested on Dec. 25 for battery and terroristic threats.

The woman was asleep in bed, when Bynum entered the room screaming about something he discovered on her phone.

An argument ensued between the two. The woman tried to hide in the bathroom.

Bynum followed her and allegedly struck the woman several times, then began choking her by the neck during the hour-long episode.

According to her statement, he also threatened to kill her. The woman managed to distract him and ran next door to report the attack.

The woman sustained several bruises from the fight. Deputies documented the injuries and the details of the assault.
