Ringgold dentist arrested on 41 drug charges

A month-long joint investigation by the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force and the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of a Ringgold dentist, sheriff Gary Sisk said.

Officers arrested 44-year-old Criston Clark of LaFayette, charging him with 41 felony counts of obtaining or attempting to obtain a scheduled drug by fraud, Sisk said.

Officers search Clark’s residence, as well as his place of business, Criston C. Clark, DMD, at 7102 Nashville Street in Ringgold, Sisk said.

Clark is in the Catoosa County jail awaiting his first appearance hearing in the magistrate court, Sisk said.

Yeah, I agree with Frakenchrist. Nevermind he was a trusted member of society (doctor) whom was abusing the system by supplying himself with drugs for personal use. Or maybe he had a tooth ache!?

WOW is all I can say, Catoosa county at it again. They are notorious for splattering your face. Gather up all the BOYS on the force playing cowboy and Indians and go out and get the people that are killing and molesting children. Stop putting all your effort in going after a DR that could write his on scripts, I see a little bit of jealousy here since the police cant do that. I never knew DR Clark hurting anyone, just doing his job.. He may like a little pick me up to do it. But oh well he never killed or hurt anyone.

Yeah! Quit picking on the addict with 41 felony counts against him with more coming. Or was he selling them and ruining other people's lives too?

So what you are saying is it's okay to break the law as long as you are not hurting anyone? I wouldn't appreciated it if my dentist was wasted on pills while he was working on my teeth. He took an oath to be ethical and moral in the performance of his doctorial duties just as law enforcement takes an oath to do theirs. Catoosa County Deputies, Drug Task Force and everyone involved in keeping these pills off the streets do a fine job. Maybe you would feel different if someone you cared for was killed by someone who was only popping pills for a "pick me up" driving down the road.
