No Limits Recreation League has a baseball team for adults and children with disabilities. No one is turned away. Wheelchairs and walkers are no problem. No matter what the challenge there’s a place for you in this league.
This will be the sixth season for No Limits baseball. We try to meet the needs of anyone who wants to play ball. We play with softer balls and let the players choose what bat they are comfortable with whether it be plastic, aluminum or wood. A sibling or friend is allowed to play on our team as well in order to make the player more comfortable. We have adults who provide assistance in any way needed whether it be helping hold the bat or running beside a player around the bases or pushing a wheelchair. We have players with all types of disabilities and they all have fun.
New players are always welcome. Registration is minimal, usually $15 to cover the cost of a shirt and trophy and everyone receives a trophy. If cost is a problem please let me know. We also have a cookout at the end of the season.
Don’t sit on the sidelines wishing you or your child could play ball. Join in the fun. It’s offered right here in LaFayette. It’s a great opportunity to make some new friends while having fun.
If you think you may be interested in playing please call 706-638-0337. Even if you don’t want to play, come out and watch a game. If you think you would like to volunteer for this worthwhile cause or have a team who may want to play against us please call or email. You may justchange your mind about how you look at disabilities.
