The 53-year-old driver was westbound on Shorter, near Old Airport Road, about 10:20 a.m. when her Kia veered into the eastbound lanes. It then entered the parking lot of Lube Plus, 2117 Shorter Ave., where it collided with a sign post, police reports state.
The driver, who was wearing her seat belt, was taken to the hospital. Her condition was unknown.
