Walker County Crimestoppers: Burglar makes off with TV, ring, laptop

A Chickamauga woman said someone broke into her residence on Lauren Circle, after she left for work, and stole $4,700 in items.

According to Walker County Sheriff’s Department reports:

On June 29, sometime between 7:15 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., someone busted her front door open and stole a black and silver 46-inch Sony LCD 1080I television, a black diamond ring and a Dell 1240 Resolution laptop computer. The damage to the 36-inch steel door is estimated at $1,500.

$5,900 in mowers stolen from Rossville residence

A Rossville man said someone entered his unlocked garage and stole three mowers from his residence on Claire Street.

According to Walker County Sheriff’s Department reports:

Sometime between June 26, at noon and June 29, at 12:27 p.m., the suspect entered through an unlocked garage door and stole two of the mowers, and stole the third mower from an underneath attached carport.

The mowers are a red Craftsman 42-inch Deck Riding mower (model number 917273461), a green Craftsman 42-inch Deck Riding mower (model number 197270532) and another green 42-inch Deck Riding mower (model number 91727267).

The mowers are valued at $5,900.

The Walker County Sheriff’s Department can offer a reward for information if it leads to an arrest. The reward amount is based on the nature of the crime(s) involved.
