Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce and Catoosa County government will recognize the county’s sesquicentennial birthday Dec. 4 at 11:50 a.m. at the Colonnade.

The event will coincide with the Chamber’s monthly luncheon and meeting. Catoosa County Government has worked in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce to reschedule the event.

The celebration will include speeches from the county manager and County Historian Bill Clark, who will be introducing his much anticipated new book “History in Catoosa County, Vol. II.” The luncheon will also feature a presentation of The Catoosa County News’ 150th anniversary commemorative magazine, accompanied by comments from staff writer Randall Franks.

Advanced reservations are required. Cost for lunch is $10. To make reservations, call the Chamber office at 965-5201
