LaFayette High School and the LaFayette Recreation Department are sponsoring a soccer clinic on Saturday at LaFayette High School from 9 a.m.-noon for kids ages 6-14.

The clinic will be conducted by new LHS boys’ soccer coach Frank Price and new LHS girls’ coach Charles Rennard. Price is a five-time Soccer Coach of the Year and has had successful runs at Ooltewah, LFO and most recently Soddy-Daisy High Schools.

Also scheduled to appear is former LFO and Mercer University star Kevin Honeycutt and LFO standout Burim Deliu, a native of Kosovo.

The clinic will focus on fundamentals in footwork, individual skill development, team play and tactics. A goalkeeper clinic will also be offered. The cost of the clinic is a five dollar donation. Players are asked to bring their own soccer ball and a drink.

Please contact the LaFayette Recreation Department at (706) 639-3908 to register. The first 30 kids registered will receive a free instructional video tape
