The facility is now located on the Fort Oglethorpe City Hall campus.
City manager Ron Goulart said LMCS bought a two-story brick building on Fant Drive across from Battlewood Apartments about a year ago.
The building needed extensive remodeling, Goulart said.
Goulart wasn’t sure when the move would occur, but he thought it would be soon.
According to its website, LMCS provides psychiatric evaluations, individual and group therapy and medications to adults with a wide range of behavioral or psychiatric disorders. It serves Walker, Catoosa, Chattooga and Dade counties.
