Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School’s First Warrior Bank, Future Business Leaders of America Club and Skills USA Club once again chose the Stocking Full of Love program for their Christmas community service project. A competition between classes was held. The three classes collecting the most toys or money received a pancake breakfast which was cooked by Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School faculty and staff and served by members of the Catoosa County’s Sheriff’s Department.
Red stamps were placed on the door of the classes for every $1 in donations or toys collected. First Warrior Bank students organized the breakfast and kept track of the money and toys. FBLA members collected the donations. Skills USA printed the stamps and posted them outside the first block classes.
The goal was to exceed the amount collected in last year's campaign at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School. Even though economic times are rough, the students, faculty and staff at LFO showed how much they care for their community by giving over $1,322 in donations of toys or money. Mrs. McCracken’s first block class won the competition with $175.00 in donations.
